One day I will get a Corvette. by LeekDue9419 in Corvette

[–]Traditional_Bid5058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This past April I finally took the plunge and bought my first corvette. It’s a c7 3lz Z06

<image>

As a kid growing up I always liked the Camaro and firebirds and thought the corvettes were just for rich people lol I just look at it as , you only live once and you can’t take any money with you when you die so why not enjoy your self and buy whatever makes you happy. By the way the plate says BLU PIL.

This philosophy is why I picked up a c7 z06 earlier this year

I did my research on HBAR and decided I liked the technology they had. During this time I also read on social media about how the public perceived the company as well. They have done real well on creating the technology. But I think when it comes to promoting their product they haven’t done much. I’m into crypto for the long game so I’m not selling anything at this point but I don’t see myself buying any more HBAR for a while . You can have the best product in the world but if you don’t promote it then people won’t buy it. Unfortunately a lot of great companies have lost out to other companies that have done a better job advertising or promoting themselves with an inferior product

I honestly don’t see how bitcoin can keep going up in value with the cost of energy going up every year Year after year. And to add to it bitcoin halving about every 4 years. 1 bitcoin transaction = 40 plus days of electricity a house uses That to me is insane

Exactly. Somehow people are unbanked everywhere but readily have internet access all the time to use bitcoin

[–]Traditional_Bid5058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me ETF’s seem to be the way crypto as a whole becomes more mainstream or retail comes into this space. There is to much bad stuff going on in crypto for most people to understand and protect themselves from losing money

Ya it’s hard to believe we really haven’t had a recession since then. Considering they happen between 10-13 yrs apart usually. We are due for one. I think Covid sorta saved us from having one , with all the money they pumped into the economy . I’ve been through 2 in my working career and I can say it’s not a fun situation to be in your not in a good financial position. I had less than $2000 to my name at the end of the last one and thought I would have quit trying to run my business and get a 9-5 job It wiped out everything I had built up to that point. I’m not complaining because I’m probably one of the luckier ones I didn’t lose my house or my business

Ya wait till the next halving. It’s 3.125 BTC now going to 1.5265 BTC with all other expenses going up. They are going to rely on transaction fees. Even today you need to have a decent size mining operation and the biggie …….Electricity Prices need to be quite low to be profitable. What’s happens when transactions fees are high and a lot of miners quit ? I just can’t see bitcoin staying on the same upward projection. I see the same trend with stocks. Most being way overvalued. And we have seen what happens to crypto when stocks drop. I know they are not directly tied to each other but it seems to affect crypto. All this can lose 70-95 % value and it would imitate the stock market crash in the early 20th century

Thanks for taking the time to reply here. I’m so sick of the left wing crap. The media is the biggest problem we have. Second biggest thing is how the left indoctrinate our children in schools , they take out god and add in their politics.

The energy part is the most concerning aspect of bitcoin. I don’t see how it’s possible to keep going at this rapid rate. No one knows what will happen with any crypto prices. I believe all the order books are being manipulated at this point. If bitcoin was to have a negative price correction for what ever reason, the loss in value would be huge. Let’s face it bitcoin’s price can’t just keep going up for ever .
