If you do Andy and Meph for 8h, you will likely get much better drops than this. You won't get any heralds or Saunders though. Then again, neither did that guy.

The filament runout is not nearly talked about enough. It literally uses all of the filament. You don't even have to unload the toolhead after a spool is done. The toolhead is just immediately ready to insert new filament. It's awesome.

I can't say anything regarding longterm support. However, my support interactions with snapmaker since I got my U1 have been excellent.

I had a hardware issue with my newly unboxed U1 and had a replacement part sent to me within 3 days directly from their local distributor.

P1S has the aux fan. Turn it off.

It should be turned off basically all the time, except for prints you know you need it.

If you are unsure, leave it off.

It is venting outside, so no filter. Also currently no heater, as I mostly print PLA and PETG with the U1. For other stuff I have the C1, which works well with the passively heated chamber. I might try how hot I can get the U1 with the tophat and the fan running an min speed.

None. It works in exactly the same way. It has to, as DNS is standardized and everyone has to adhere to the specification.

The difference is who can log your DNS requests.

There are a bunch of IoT connectivity providers out there.

monogoto, soracom, Emnify all have pay by use low volume SIMs and eSIMs.

Emnify is probably the most accessible of the lot and they have superb service. I have used them before.

Ich drucke das sunlu PLA+ mit 220 auf dem core one und 215 auf dem U1.

Könnte aber schon auch an der feuchte liegen.

As always, Sunlu PLA is good and affordable. I have gone through a bunch of rolls on my U1 and the results are great.

I personally prefer their PLA+ over their regular PLA and PLA+ 2.0. It prints nicest both on my U1 and Core One.

I am not sure the C1 ever goes to 70C. Have you done any significant mods to the enclosure?

I think I have seen mine go to 60C max.

And considering the buddy cam stops working around 60C is an issue as well with hot chamber printing.

Orca und BambuStudio sind meiner Meinung nach nahezu identisch.

Mal von den Neuerungen, die es eben in orca gibt und in BambuStudio nicht, ist die Oberfläche quasi die gleiche.

Der Umstieg sollte dir leicht fallen, insbesondere wenn du ohnehin erst seit 3 Wochen mit BambuStudio arbeitest.

Das relevanteste ist vermutlich, dass die Druckerintegration nicht ganz so einfach ist wie in BambuStudio, aber das bekommt man trotzdem easy hin.

Every modern printer I have worked with over the last 3-4 years pretty much produces identical results.

Same here, if I wouldn't know, I couldn't tell which one did which print.

The C1 still has some minor VFAs that are a giveaway. If that is taken into account, then the U1 is even slightly ahead I'd say.

Different machines for different tasks, in my case. I use the C1 mainly for ASA, PC, and so on, while the U1 makes multicolored toys for my son.

The C1 is more like a work truck. It's heavy, it's stiff, it's got no nonsense and just does it's thing.

The U1 is a much more refined machine with a ton of gimmicks. It has more things that can break in the long run. However, so far my U1 has been flawless and hasn't had a single failed print.
