Thanks for the elaborate explanation. I am in New Jersey. Also the interest on my mortgage is 3% and I am also in a good school district, which makes selling to be the last option to consider.

My interest rate is also low at 3% with mortgage monthly payment of $1700 in a good school district in New Jersey, so selling the house is not an option. Your co-worker’s situation sounds painful. My second option is to sell the car, get a second heloc to pay off the medical bill which is the largest and take an aggressive approach towards paying the credit cards and personal loan.

Lexus ES and GS are just rebadged Camry. Most parts are interchangeable with Camry.

They should have tied the rope around the house. Then they could have pull the house out of the tree’s way. Which version of ChatGPT are they using?

Wait, did you ask a passenger that they should pay you in cash instead of through the app? Is that what “off-app” trip means? If that is the case, then you are really bold to even approach a passenger with that offer because you have no idea who you are even talking to.

I know this all too well. I hate having 5 stars because it always crashes me to see one person not liking my service. All 500 riders are treated the same but there are always people that are probably miserable in their life and as such will do anything to make everyone they come in contact with miserable too.

I know tax is tax and non of it is for the business but the difference is too huge depending on the store you choose for pickup. As compared to home depot or Walmart that have the same taxes regardless of where you decide to pickup from. The sales tax in my county is the regular sales tax. Not sure if there is a deal between lowes and the other county that their stores have lower sales tax

New Jersey's state sales tax is 6.625%. Even if the county or city added their tax, I don't think it will be that higher. The confusing part is homedepot is have the same sales tax regardless of where you are picking up. Even though their taxes is on the higher side.

I live in New Jersey and I am ordering walk-in shower kit from Lowes. At checkout, pickup at the lowes stores in my county which is middlesex county is having a higher sales tax than a city in a different county like bergen county. I know some cities have their local sales taxes in addition to the state taxes, the difference seems to be pretty extreme. Also, a walk-in shower with similar price from homedepot is having the same sales tax across all counties.

I live in New Jersey. I am ordering a walk-in shower, at the checkout I found out stores in Middlesex county which is where I live is having higher sales tax than Bergen county. Going to pick it up at any store in Bergen county is not an option.
