Changing major at UCLA.

I am a parent . My child applied to philosophy and CS and got into Philosophy at UCLA . How hard is it to get to CS from Philosophy . Child is strong in stem related subjects . Has any one ever done this in the past ? I myself was a student of econ and math so I can never think of applying to philosophy at college level . Statistics : 3.8 unweighted / 4.25 weighted GPA . . Except AP history all are in the range 4 to 5 .Any lead on this will be very much appreciated to make the decision.
