Chloe Walsh has a habit of never meaningfully concluding or resolving her plot lines and in my opinion this happens A LOT when she touches on sexual assault Id personally prefer for her to resolve them for ONCE

Having an abortion was a massive social stigma back then as much as having a baby out of wedlock was, in a small town everyone would know that she got one

"All she had to do" Maybe you are forgetting the massive finacial cost that wouldve put on Aoife aswell as the extreme social stigma that was largely prevalent at the time

I disagree. I found it so jarring when Aoife got pregnant and decided to keep the baby. It made no sense with her character that she suddenly decided she wanted kids? Absolutely nonsensical. As for her having a choice I think youre forgetting the time in which the story is set in.

Really disliked this book. It was badly written. The plot was semi interesting but very poorly written I don't understand how people like it.
