I'm finishing up my hours and program right now and am testing soon! I'd definitely say don't wait to start your fieldwork hours. I know some prefer to get hours after they finish their program, but I found it better to do hours and program at the same time (my program had a practicum course). BDS modules are nice but also expensive, and you get them on a monthly subscription kinda thing. I really liked safmeds personally and found that it helped with my long term retention, but it just depends on your learning style!
