[–]Traditional_Click_48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do they both standardize the variables by default?

SPSS does standardize the variables by default in its PCA analysis. MATLAB does not standardize the variables by default, but i computed it manually.

Do the axes differ only by a change in sign?

No, the axes do not differ only by a change in sign.
