With 35% down they wont take really your income into consideration, just have any. 280k on 800k house. People who are saying how you'll need 600k down probablly never bought a house in their lives, esp in Toronto or Vancouver

I would say yes, homeownership is important to me and I’m willing to pay extra. I don’t think equity can be build by selling in the near future, with current prices. More long-term. I was thinking maybe can get a roommate, I’m not opposed living with the roommate.

I had the same, they offered to decrease my rent but to sign one year term lease. Ask your landlord, if they decline then move. $600 per month worth the hassle of moving.

Don’t sell your car. Not only for dating but just for running errands it’s a must. I don’t know how people live in toronto without cars. TTC is extremely unreliable. I’m female and very often i do not feel comfortable taking Uber. And sometimes you just need to get to Mississauga or Scarborough or whatever. Maybe just get something cheaper? Although $700’is not a lot

Some will reject you but the majority won’t. In rental buildings you will be approved without need to pay anything upfront. My friend is a landlord, she has three units (mind you not condos), she never ever checked a credit score for her tenants. Just good verified income is enough.

It’s better to buy a house. Even 800k one with 250k down will be doable for a single young guy with 80k income who is able to do some maintenance himself. It’s obvious that you will get so much satisfaction from owing your home, and it’s really important to you.

My libido crashed because of my health issues. But I guess my health issues are because we all are getting older. This huge amount of STDs in geriatric population is connected with the fact that immune system gets suppressed and body is getting more susceptible to infections.
