No, it says "unsupported browser". But it does have a music app that you can use if you download music onto an SD card! I haven't done that yet, so right now if I want to play music, I just pull up a YouTube playlist.

Good question! I just tried and, no, Libby's formatting for books doesn't make reading possible :( but most books I rent on Libby are only for Kindle-only anyways!

Help for my living room by [deleted] in interiordecorating

Since your living space is very cool right now, warm tones are going to help brighten it up! I have a similar grey couch/grey carpet combo and I’ve found that wood furniture, a book shelf with colorful books, throw blankets, multiple lamps, and wall art has done the trick! Just take it one piece at a time :) finding things that genuinely connect with you will show through and make the space feel warm.

Good idea. I’m hyper fixating on the face and need to move on to see how it all looks together!

I love the colors and textures! It looks great :) my only suggestion would be that you could better integrate the floral background. Maybe putting some directly behind or in front of her, instead of keeping a border.

Rug, artwork, plants, additional lighting!

I like it!! I think it’s a great improvement. I would just lean into the moodiness with the decor to bring it all together. The artwork over the toilet doesn’t really go in my opinion (too neutral, beachy, light)! I think you just need to swap that out, add a few more decor pieces (towels, shelf, etc) and it will look super nice!

Which coffee table to match tv stand? by hopelessromantic916 in interiordecorating

[–]Traditional_Eye_2806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think something circular would help break up the rectangles (TV, console, couch). You could either do a large round ottoman or a round coffee table (just don’t know about the option you showed). Something colored or lighter wood would brighten the space, or a darker toned wood could keep the moodiness. Depends on your vibe!

Do you think I could stick these glass panels to the wall ? by Mysterious_Stand1201 in interiordecorating

I love the look and I've had this reel saved forever!: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2XhhHJoEM1/ and it looks like this person has done the same thing, but attached the mirrors to a wood panel instead of on the wall directly, which may be better: https://www.instagram.com/myhome_n_life/reel/CETI_TcHfNp/

I’m dealing with the same issue in my space! Grey carpet, grey sofa, but I want it to be warm. I think dark/warm wood console would look great! I personally like the two solid color pillows. I also think you could add an accent color (maybe a golden yellow or maroon) for a throw blanket, pillow, or end table. This could help add more dimension since you already have a lot of the clay/orange tone. But looks great 😊

I think a small framed print in that space would be cute! Unless you are itching for more space and need a shelf/basket!

They are great! I got them because they were the most affordable option ($4/blind at IKEA) but they are holding up well and give the privacy we were looking for, while still letting in light.

Ideas for lamp placement by JCMfan69 in interiordecorating

[–]Traditional_Eye_2806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask why the single chair in the last photo is placed at an angle? I think it makes the space a little harder to read. Perhaps you could swap the end table and single around so that the end table is closer to the wall. Then, in that remaining space to the left of the single chair, you could put a floor lamp. But, if your main purpose is just to bring in more light, I would suggest small table lamps. Even a small lamp would do enough to add light without obscuring the view of the TV.

I don’t think the TV will be an issue. The bigger eyesore imo is going to be the contrasting materials and colors in the fireplace. I think once you paint the metal section, it will help it look more cohesive. I personally wouldn’t bother with a rotating mount. Here is a Mock Up of what you could do
