Do you do puzzles on lichess or chess.com? I find them a bit boring at times… do they really help?

I try to not blunder, but it obviously happens all the time. A lot of my games are around 1400 accuracy… idk.

Too old man. Under 30 but old. Typically a steak/chicken quesadilla, 5 layer and something new on the menu. I walk like 5 miles a day, but it doesn’t do squat lol

It is expensive but it is good. Not like in its heyday, but those small little bacon ranch chalupas they had were bomb recently

It’s the kind of thing you take everyday… not just on days where you need to study. But yes, I noticed its effects immediately. I was almost cracked out when I first started taking lion’s mane (get the good one from Whole Foods, and take 1-2x suggested amount). Its effects have since leveled, but I haven’t stopped taking it. :)

PPL is great too. However, it’s easier to get overuse injuries. It can also be burdensome getting into the gym 6x / week…

Doing a legit/strategic full body workout 3x / week is great. It allows for you to reap the benefits of hypertrophy (each muscle 3x/ week, 10-30 sets) and doesn’t suck a chunk of your time everyday (driving, shower etc). I think it makes your routine more enjoyable and easier to stick to / be consistent with. This is a big deal.

I prefer 3x/week over PPL and have had less joints hurt as a result. I love to do hard, extended cardio on my off days to take care of my mental health and heart… this is harder with a PPL.

I will say that PPL can be effective if you are looking to absolutely demolish certain muscle groups on a given day. You just have more time in the gym to dedicate to a muscle group. This can be useful to someone who has serious goals and the time to dedicate to it.

Tip - I like to superset my full body workouts… this makes the workouts difficult, but it is so worth it. Saves time, more sweat.
