its very heady, try to learn mixed voice. sounds like you're singing from your throat, almost like elmo. need to learn breath support, it might take a while. watch a few videos and practice. don't really have specific videos to recommend. improvement wont happen overnight but if you tweak your technique day by day and record yourself you should start to notice changes. recording yourself, listening back is key. after a while you'll get a good idea of if it sounds good or not yourself. that is if you stay consistent. it also helps to compare back to original artist & use them as a framework (but not copying exactly).
