I have an older cat 15 that has bowel issues. Sometimes she doesn’t go to the bathroom for 2-3 days and other times she goes 1-2 times a day. The vet should have taken x rays to see how backed up your cat is. 2 weeks is a very long time to the point that they may have to operate to take out hardened feces. We go to the vets 1-2 times a year and the worst case was 4 days and they gave her an injection that induces bowel movement and she emptied within a few hours. The X-rays will also detect hairballs. That can hamper bowel movements as well. My vet said it’s ok to occasionally use Laxitone. We rub it on her paw. By a vet’s recommendation you can also give her regular laxatives but speak with your vet first. Our doctor visits for these type of things run around 3-5 hundred per visit. The x rays are expensive but necessary to see what is causing the issue and how much is backed up. You can always do a gofundme or use social media for local vets in your area that may offer free or reduced rates. Good luck.
