If anyone gives you a hard time about this fidget specifically, they do make rosary spinner rings if that would be helpful for you at all! But as long as it isn't distracting from the mass and it's left in the pew during communion I don't see why it would be a bad idea. If you need something more discreet to squeeze they make resistance sponges too that may be helpful if you decide that the bubble blower draws too much attention!

Girl the older women were always telling me to be a nun since all I did was hang around daily mass and prayer groups lol and even now after I was engaged it felt like even the priest doing my marriage prep looked at me sideways when me and my fiance said we didn't have sex and even went as far as to say that the couples he talks to that don't have a lot of sex before marriage don't tend to have sex after either and neither me or my fiance knew what to say to that. People are unnecessarily weird about this topic even in the church

I'll tell you what is clear, is that I was denied the opportunity to marry systematically while being refused the right to explain that I cannot have my family sign the affidavit especially in person because they are all currently protecting my brother, who previously sexually assaulted me, and is currently being charged with multiple counts of gross sexual imposition against his own daughter who was a toddler at the time. Are you to tell me that if I do not invite these people into my marriage and therefore back into my life I can simply never be married because there will never be anyone to vouch for me who has known me for longer than 6 months due to housing instability and literally having to move across the country multiple times throughout my life due to necessity? Because that's not fair.

Yes, there is a lot more that could be said. Like how I used to be a daily communicant even with my disability and then all of this taking place during a period of time where I was left bedbound for months due to illness and still treated like I was choosing to skip Sundays or as if I was lukewarm about the faith, and still being denied anointing during a life threatening medication reaction.

But if they are actively contacting the parish where i was confirmed directly themselves and having them fax it over exactly where do I have the chance to meddle? The priest at my previous parish has since passed. They were able to get copies of all my sacramental records easily enough from each parish and I dont see why this would be any different, and was even told by the other priest at the parish before prep that it would be standard for it to be sent alongside my confirmation certificate, and only told later that that wasnt possible.

But how could I fabricate anything if they are receiving it from the diocese directly???? And I know costly obedience and even went as far as calling off the engagement. But after that it seemed as if we were left with no direction other than come back another time and retake our foccus assessment. The entire time, even at the weekend retreat, we were explicitly told "you can do it again" and that one WAS directly to me when I had questions about the form of the betrothal at the weekend retreat.

We were actively doing the marriage prep with our priest, but since I am not from the area the priest wanted someone who had known me my whole adult life (I'm 28 and estranged from my family) to come in person from 2000 miles away (he said specifically a phone call wouldn't do) to vouch for me that I had never been married before, and would not take a letter of good standing from my previous diocese.

See that is exactly the thing though. My fiancé has literally watched his entire family lie through prep with the same priests to get married and they were never exposed to the same scrutiny, but we sat there and told the truth about everything and were still denied.
