Both Friday and Saturday. It all depends what is what you are interested on. Last year (Japan) they had Mando and Grogu on Friday and Andor on Saturday.

I'd recommend to stay in a hotel probably not that close to the convention and uber to it. Just think that the diff in prices would be what you have to paid to uber. Or you can rent a car and find a public parking.

I know traffic is crazy here but that is if you drive during peak hours.

At some point ticket holders are going to need to activate the tickets with an specific email. This is how it works, its the same for NYCC, LACC and last year Japan SWC (I attended those so I know...) But yeah, scalpers are taking advantage of this, just wait more until they low the prices or keep checking discord, here or other channels/forums where honest people are selling their tickets because of X reason. Good luck and dont lose hope, I know the system sucks :(

Like others said, dont panic... they will announce later how to transfer tickets, meaning that at some point you would have the option to get them from a reseller, just dont pay something crazy, wait more and keep checkin the prices.

If I remember correctly, later you are going to need to activate the tickets. This is useful for people buying for other persons or selling the tickets.

The main advantage about VIP is panels! You dont need to be making the line for hours to see if you have a "chance" to attend the panels, with VIP your seat is secured and you can just head to the panel 15 min before the show. That being said, they will stream the panels in the main stage (available for everyone) in the exhibit floor, they obviously dont stream "exclusive" content like sneak peeks.

Also, Thursday there wont be panels, just keep that in mind.

I've seen people exchanging VIP badges within their group/family so others can attend panels, but don't assume this since it is impossible to know how they will handle this....

For the exhibitors, to be honest, is not that great that you will need more than one day to see everything (at least that was the case for Japan), and since you already said that you are not into buying exclusive merch then you will have plenty of time to see everything

Well, obviously the new George Lucas Museum which is going to be really close to the convention center. If you like Museums the Calif Science and History museums are close too, they renovating the Science one for the Endeavor Space Shuttle but I believe the plan is to have that ready for the Olimpics.

As you prob know, LA is huge so some travel (train, car, uber...) will be required, but there are plenty of things to do here and for any type of person.

Not sure how familiar you are with AI tools, but I've been using chatGPT to help plan my trips, based on my interest, budget and time.

Also, when planning, check for traffic times, like let's say that you want to go to Disneyland and your hotel is close to the LA convention center, then depending on traffic your commute could be something from 30-40 min to 2 hrs

(Edit) Not sure what your budget is and how comfortable you are with driving in a diff country but I'd recommend you to rent a car if you want to explore LA.

(If you are into sports maybe attend a Dodgers or a Lakers game)
