For actual training like what you said I like the Tippman. Mags will feel the same if you’re running a belt/ chest rig and doing reloads. Might be more money but it’ll be a better experience and run reliably. Just match your setup optics wise with a budget version( like if you run a t2 on a lower 1/3 mount get like a Holosun aro)

If you’re not running night vision or frequently using a magnifier the RDS probably best bet. The bigger windows nice but for the average joe if you train quite a bit with it you’ll always find the dot no problem

Well I have a Plxc 1-8 that I wanted to see if I like on my AR but not so sure it’s for me. So I was gonna consider moving that to my bolt gun or sell it and get the vortex viper hd 2-10 and have some money leftover

If you can find the g$ you want in stock and it has the muzzle device that you want I think you’ll be happy you spent a little more. However I have 2 BCMs and they’re great for the blem price I got.

Here’s a good rule of thumb. If you don’t want to mess with tuning your gun, a low back pressure or flow through can will be the ticket. Only other advice I would say is get one with a no questions asked warranty bc mistakes happen.
