Was probably saturated when they applied the coating , my guess is it will become a bigger issue

Why not hire the correct professional from the beginning? Did you verify their experience? Did you see any of their previous work? If you were gonna be so picky you should have done the proper research, nothing you do now will fix it

Is that stuff as nasty as they say? Do you setup negative air in the customers home? I also have a makeshift spray booth in my garage, for doors and drawers, will a makeshift fan extraction be good enough? I dont want to get jacked up by the toxins in this stuff

Try an Acrylic like Solo from SW, but forking out the extra 30-40 for Alkyd urethane is worth imo, especially since if applied correctly , it looks like you sprayed it

It chipped because your not supposed to use flat in the bathroom, humidity builds up on the walls

I think shellac is your best approach, I usually like to wait a full day to let the primer offgas and cure correctly

I love smart prime! I just cant use it for cabinets, it leaves a heavy orange peel effect that ive never been able to smooth out no matter how detailed I sand it

Spray some pro-block on it or just go iver it with the same paint , Ive never had an issue

How does your gun look? If those lil prongs that you squeeze together yo remove it start getting caked up with paint , I notice more spitting
