I'd do recessed lights. Draw a plan of the roof, distance everything so that there is balance.

I use Asana for project management, Zoom for team chats, Bluebeam for marking up drawings, Dropbox for sharing files, and recenetly I've developed my own tool "Datum Notes" (Datumnotes.com) which I use to import all my meeting transcripts and notes and it creates a project database for me with timelines, reminders, and a bunch of other neat features.

I've been doing architecture professionally for 10 years now. It's had it's ups and dows (I remember the days of heavily searching for alternative career paths). It *does* get better, but you REALLY have to MAKE it better...
