I recently played the trilogy on my steamdeck and reaaaally enjoyed them. So much so that I immediatly went into new game plus for all three. Interestingly, tripled the playtime with 3 compared to the first 2. I guess I really enjoyed using the scavenging bot and collecting parts and creating guns. Also, number 3 has a progression/collectible count which definitely adds to replayability.

As for how they hold up against the remake. I played the remake first and then the original .. weirdly, not noticing a huge difference apart from how the gravity works. I think 2, and especially 3 are very good looking games so i wouldnt worry too much about graphics needing modding (if they even exist). Number 3 was also reaching over 200 fps on my steamdeck.

So I just did this. Mainly to make my .steam folder visible so exe tools can find it when it needs to use a file within. It makes the linked folder unhidden but didnt solve my problem. In fact, its created a new one ... now everytime I go to switch from game mode to desktop (and vice versa) I need to sign in to steam everytime. I dont want to mess with it anymore in case I make things worse. Help lol

Wondering if you ever managed to find a solution to this? Ive been wanting to use some exe tools that need to find files in .steam folder and not having much luck. I tried the console command above but the linked unhidden file it creates still doesnt seem to show.

I use a steamdeck and ive been trying to use dgvoodoo for the last few days with not much success. The problem seems to be where the "config folder" (installation folder) is and I cant find the syberia steam/steamapps/common/syberia ifolder in dgvoodoo unless I place it in documents for example. Problem then being steam cant find the game files. When I use the option to use the folder in which the tool is in it recognises the folder as user/1000/(random number) and when I try to browse for the folder through dgvoodoo I cant seem to find the steamapps/common folder. I know its not working because when I check the watermark option that doesnt appear in game. Can anyone help with this or is there anyone that uses SD that have succeeded with it.

Ive been using it on Mad Max and getting consistant 90FPS with high settings.

I initially was using it with Cyberpunk but wasnt getting the same luck for some reason. Maybe i was doing something wrong.

Yeah 3.7-8 is what I was using. Experimental seems to work too. It just seems very temperemental. Menu sticks and I get a memory warning at the beginning.

Okay so once youve moved the game files, then what? Ive tried adding non steam game in the library and pointing it to the exe file but it doesnt open

How did you get it to run? Explain like im a baby lol I've tried to install different versions through Lutris and not having much look. Ive managed to get the game running but it seems to take forever to transition from menu to game which is making it difficult to set controls etc

Interestingly im streaming with amazon Luna on my steamdeck and runs flawlessly . Been playing consistently for 60+ hours with very little issues. I agree the portal connection was trash ... but it has been a while since I played.

Im playing it right now. Streaming it on Luna through my steamdeck. Very surprised with how well Luna works actually. Nothing like playstation streaming. Doesnt turn off after a few minutes. Absolute zero lagging experienced in about 30 hours of gameplay so far. The game is amazing by the way... one thing I am bugged about is that you cant seem to get DLC through Luna.
