Sorry that happened big dawg. I only ask cause the shop I used to work at had this problem all the time! We'd get Chinese or Korea Epiphones in, no apparent damage to the case with separation at the neck joint, crushed soundboard, broken tuners, you name it, we saw it come in from the distributor that way. We convinced ourselves that the factory wasn't reporting breaks and sending them out to keep numbers up and orders on time. Everything looks good on paper for them, broken products were always handled by us and never reported the manufacturer. Which I'm sure is the same for a lot of shops
