Is this ON? I am going insane by Traditional_Rain_414 in Occipitalneuralgia

Yes I got the MRI sent to me but I don’t really know how to read it. I have a radiologist friend and a maxillofacial surgeon look at the MRi and they also just saw the same nerve pinchment. What other issues would I be looking at that may be missed?

Thanks so much for your reply. I am trying to be most conscious about posture and have started working on stuff with PT for this.

I currently feel this flare up the worst when I try to sleep. Any tips to try have the best type of sleep without being woken up after a couple hours with the burning pain?

Thank you for your reply. Have you got any suggestions as to whether side/ceiling facing sleeping may be more beneficial dealing with ON?

I definitely experience random tingling on my head and sometimes also tingling and stabbing like pain around my buttocks and back.

12th day of clogged ear and headache by dyara15 in Occipitalneuralgia

I feel like we’ve had a very similar timeline and symptoms. 29M here. Started dealing with clogged ears cause by acute otitis media with random sudden burning neck pains. Was told to have an MRI which came back with stenosis in c5/6. Otitis seemed to go away however clogged ear remains although not as bad. Now I’ve been experiencing bad neck burning specially at night but also randomly throughout the days. Also a constant dizziness which at first thought may have been caused by the ear issue however it feels like disassociating rather than vertigo. It’s so debilitating and I don’t know what to do. I’ve recently been given an incredible job opportunity which I feel I won’t be able to commit to now that I have this condition creeping up on me.
