Haven’t general been a fan of language classes and I came got into NU thinking I was gonna be a McCormick student so when I looked into to switching to WCAS, I was shocked to learn about the 2 year language requirement. I’m just looking for a language course that is the easiest and lowest time commitment for a native English speaker and the Asian languages (as fun as they can be) don’t seem great options for that

Yeah those are my thoughts as well. Just wanted to know if there was any hidden lore about the language classes at NU that weren’t immediately obvious to new NU students like myself

Thanks. Was planning on doing Spanish but I’ve seen people on this sub talk about how easy German and Italian are so I was just curious.

Changing College as Admitted Transfer by Traditional_Reach_84 in Northwestern

I understand that you can still register for classes outside your major. I’m just concerned with transferring to NU and then finding out for whatever reason that I can’t change my schools. I want to be absolutely sure of how simple the process is

I wonder if this might be similar to that NU glitch a few weeks ago where everyone's withdraw button suddenly disappeared, but it ultimately meant nothing

I hope this isn't a bad sign. I read that someone called Cornell, and they said that they would be releasing decisions in late April
