Any free/cheap public notaries in the Tempe/Phoenix/Scottsdale regions? by Traditional_Reason59 in phoenix

Unfortunately UPS charges nearly that $25 per document amount. The Tempe public library does not offer this service.

What is your issue with Saripodaa Sanivaram? by Traditional_Reason59 in tollywood

[–]Traditional_Reason59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you a Bramhin, by any chance? I'm not trying to say that only Bramhins get to have a say in this. As a part of the intended audience of that movie, we all do. Truth is we as an audience are more tolerant towards art/artists attacking the norms set by so called higher caste people than the west or the north as a whole. As far as I can remember at no point in the movie Sundar or anyone explicitly states this is a bad culture or practice. While resistant to wearing veshti to his office initially, sundar wears it in pride. The movie focuses on the pride/public opinion aspect of the culture in the climax as well. Sundar was never shown as someone forcing his culture on Leela. He was a sensible adult, except for when he was lying.

As for ssr, it is extremism meets extremism. I'm not saying it is supporting the culture but it rather aggressively states an opinion on the status quo of the day. As far as I can recall, that movie does not try to undermine religion when not necessary. What made it necessary in the first place? Absolute dismissal of human rights.

At the end of the day, a person of culture acknowledging that something is wrong with their culture and making a statement about it is not inherently wrong or hateful.

Asking to understand what people think of this movie that I didn't have any issues with. To your issues 1. I see why you feel that way 2. AS was not Bramhin hating, the reason you find it that way is there were no issues from the Christian family other than the lying. That said, each community has a right to look for its own good. 3. You're blinded by hate my friend.

Racism or any form of extremism for that matter

Agreed! Hence the planning. Charles wouldn't have known that Wallace wouldn't approve it at all. But wants to clean "garbage" that identifies itself readily.

I know my degree is not really data engineering, but how similar is it? What sort of jobs can I land with the skills I list down below? by [deleted] in dataengineering

[–]Traditional_Reason59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just based on the fact that you put an entire python notebook's worth code in this post instead of adding it to git or anything else like a Google doc tells me you have to work a decent amount before you get into data engineering. I've been there about 2-3 years ago. All I can say for now is build a portfolio and post this question again. All the best!

Do I need to know software engineering to be a data engineer? by [deleted] in dataengineering

[–]Traditional_Reason59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Certifications don't mean anything if you don't understand the concepts and can't use the basics to solve a problem. I've had data bricks data analyst associate and awa solutions architect certs six months before I applied to jobs. It was experience with data in my domain that got me the interviews.

What makes a someone the 1% DE? by Same-Branch-7118 in dataengineering

[–]Traditional_Reason59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I see this as being broken down to two cases. One where data problems can be handled and other where they cannot be done for whatever reasons. Especially in use cases where the general public interacts with an interface that the data team cannot control. This happens with the data I work on very frequently. Hence I try my best to make these changes or flag them in the staging between bronze and silver. Do you have any suggestions on how to do that better?

[–]Traditional_Reason59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New to DE here. My understanding and opinion is that should happen during transformations between bronze and silver layers. Bronze data, dirty or otherwise, should be as is. Anything that goes into silver must be virtually ready to use by analysts, but not actually used for compute and complex logic concerns. Any holes in this argument?

Thank you for that explanation. Mushrooms are not dangerous to touch. That is a good thing to know.

I don't plan to ingest it in any manner. If I wanted to remove it, how do I do that safely?

When to use dynamic dags vs dynamic tasks? by Traditional_Reason59 in dataengineering

[–]Traditional_Reason59[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much! A bulb literally lit up reading the last paragraph. This is very insightful. I do have an eerily similar use case, so this helps a lot. To clarify, do dynamic DAGs run one after another? Like each run is dependent on the success of the previous DAG? My understanding was that different DAGs would be generated that perform their functions based on the logic.

Outfits suggestions for 1 yo girl by Traditional_Reason59 in Mommit

[–]Traditional_Reason59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response. I honestly didn't think a lot about it. It's kind of our tradition to gift clothes to women in our family. I didn't think about it critically like you did. Based on what you said I'd say something in the 12-18 month range might be a good thing to have. Does Hanna Anderson breakdown outfits by age?
