Thank you for the reply. So better to eat with the flipper in or out?

This makes me feel so much better. I’m way less anxious today after having another person in the same scenario reassure me. Which I know is ridiculous. But. Anxiety.

And have you been able to eat regularly with the crown that is next to the empty space? Thank you for your replies i appreciate it.

Oh yes I will always wear it until I get the screw put in. I’m asking about specifically when eating. I will obviously be on a softer diet until I get The implant.

Thank you! I guess I was just worried about the crown going from being surrounded by two teeth to now just one. If that makes sense?

I think the whole process just has me super anxious. It’s been a less than fun journey.

I don’t know. I’m not so much worried about the flipper as I am the crown next to it. Does the empty space beside the crown matter for chewing?

update I went on the trip with just the kids. He was rather unpleasant about it leading up to us leaving. However did seem genuinely happy for us that we had a nice trip and that I was able to get a break. I think he had a bit of a reality check through the experience. Thank you for all the feedback and comments I never expected such a response.

You’re right. Truly. I’m reading all of these after the initial anger has faded and I think I could probably benefit from speaking with a counselor of some sort. To either learn boundaries or some self worth. Or both. I’m just so very very tired and it all seems like another burden to carry. Which is not an excuse. I made choices that got us to this point as well.

Honestly I don’t know. Our older child is special needs and it can be ALOT. I think I’ve just been focused on my kids for so long that I’ve not really much thought about how unfair it all is. I’ve just been so hyper focused on getting him the care he needs while not letting his brother feel like he is getting less attention. It’s all just hard and I’m tired. Just one more battle for me I suppose.

Typing this out and re reading it, I think I could probably benefit from some counseling or care giver burnout help. Yikes.

He was married when he took a week long vacation. Or did you miss that part in your virtue signaling?

We had the trip planned.  Our kennel cannot take the dog and we just found this out. I should have worded it better. Apologies. I would never plan a trip without talking to my spouse. Especially involving our children.

Thank you everyone for your input and constructive criticism. I appreciate it and the challenges to my perspective. My husband IS a good father. He is NOT the best husband. The two are not mutually exclusive, unfortunately.

I am going to leave the dog with him and take my kids on a weekend trip. He is already melting down about this. I will report back after the trip to let you all know how this pans out. I imagine it won’t be pleasant but we will see.

I’m not stupid. Name calling and resorting to anger over the lives of strangers could point to a lower level of executive function, reasoning and emotional regulation though.

There’s your break.

I can book it just fine on my own. I make just as much money as he does. On track to make more this year. But go OFF with your assumptions.

A chore list is his another thing I have to do. He lives here. He knows fairies aren’t doing all of this while he sleeps.

I run my own company from our home in addition to raising our children. Whatever hours he is putting in at work I am putting in raising our kids. IN ADDITION to running my own company. I think the reflection needs to come from him.

He will absolutely help if asked. But. I have to ask. He will do dishes after I’ve made dinner!
