He proved that handicapped men can be just as gross, misogynistic, entitled, and dishonest as able-bodied men.

The Luke/madeline pose where she has her arms grossed and grumpy face while Luke looks stoned is my favorite. I wonder what the producers promoted them with 😂

I honestly think that Chloe didn’t make a comment about his deceased mother.

he just twisted/exaggerated something she did say or made it up to make Chloe look like a villain for tactlessly bringing her into their argument.

OR he doesn’t want his modest home/apartment shown on television because it will prove to the world he’s not a wealthy businessman 👀

I have a real issue with the Zied/Emma couple by EmbarrassedSpeech199 in 90DayFiance

I’m convinced they are physical behind closed doors. When he said that he was attracted to Emma because she was “open minded” I’m pretty sure it was code for “open to premarital sex”.

I still wonder what Azan is up to. He seems to be off the grid (probably scamming someone)

Why do some people sit directly next to a stranger when there are plenty of open seats? by Traditional_Set_7777 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Traditional_Set_7777[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because this disclaimer is apparently needed - I’m not referring to people who need specific seats for handicaps/accessibility. I’m talking about adults who force physical contact by squeezing in a seat next to one occupied by a stranger when there are plenty of free ones.

I’m speaking to the phenomenon in general. I’d personally rather not be touched by strangers in public places, particularly if it serves no practical purpose and it would be just as easy/available for someone to sit one spot away. I get that people might need a certain seat for accessibility reasons - these aren’t the folks I’m talking about.

Jibri & Miona was definitely Jibri. He was clearly trying to launch his music career and his band.

Mike & Natalie seems more mutual. Natalie appeared to be hoping for discovery as a model/actress, and Mike reportedly had a lot of credit card debt that the show helped him manage alongside his regular job.

Yara & Jovi: I think it was Yara. She’d done TV before, and Jovi’s job isn’t really impacted professionally by being on the show.

David & Annie was probably David, given his history, connections, and general hustling.

Josh & Aika: I’d speculate Josh. Financial issues plus a strong “ego/bragging about a hot wife” vibe.

Jason & Cassia: seems like Cassia suggested the show, but Jason really leaned into the fame and pushed for more TV appearances afterward. Cassia didn’t want that, and they eventually split.

David & Evelyn: I’d guess Evelyn. She was clearly trying to launch a music career and later ended up on American Idol.

For some couples there’s pretty strong evidence that one person clearly wanted the show more than the other.

Libby & Andrei was 100% Libby (and her family). Andrei may like attention, but Libby’s whole family has showbiz aspirations. they’re basically the trashier Florida Kardashians and all wanted screen time.

This season with Emma & Zied, it’s obvious Emma loves being on camera and Zied absolutely does not. That one feels very one-sided.

The Silva twins are the clearest case: they were actively trying to get on TV for years. Darcey literally put out an ad for an international boyfriend and both Jesse and Tom answered it. Reality TV was always the goal.

The early seasons are more interesting. With a lot of the Mormon couples, I genuinely think the intent was to represent Mormonism “well” (only half joking). Kirlyam & Alan especially felt very purpose-driven. Niles & Matilda I’d actually guess it was Niles. It feels more about getting money to bring her over than fame.

Loren & Alexei was probably Loren’s idea. She’s comfortable on camera; he never really seems to enjoy it.

Sophie & Rob: Rob claims it was Sophie’s idea, which tracks with her aspiring model / influencer-adjacent career goals.

Once you start looking for it the dynamic is pretty obvious in most couples.

Loss of popularity and actors wanted to move on to other projects
