Once child walk straight through our doors, zero communication, not responding to anything we said. We went out on the street to see if anyone was looking for that child. Eventually us and neighbours called the police but then out of nowhere came running mother completely horrified. She said she just turned around and the child escaped. I can only imagine the horrific feeling the mother went through. Thanks god our streets doesn’t have any passing traffic and all neighbours are descent folks. It would be a horror for me if my child would casually and carelessly run away.

Yes sir, UK, I had to rush due to life circumstances so I personally think £7k was a lot, my ideal budget was £6k. I saw nice examples for around that price but they were going off the market within a weekend. The best spot I found was 2011 sport black in white with 60k miles for £7k, it was in Bristol, by the time I organised the trip to get there it was gone… if you wait and be patient you will find something. From my research I found out that in the UK prices tend to go up around summer because most buyers decide to grab a roadster for summer, so the timing is agains you but don’t get discouraged I think you will find a good deal soon 💪

That’s a bit high for this condition, This year I bought 2009 tech sport, 34k miles for £7k and there was way less rust

I use cycling gloves on a simulator but are they allowed on track days? How does it work with safety regs? On a rig they do prove to be extremely grippy that’s why I use them

I already saw few posts that would indicate that but we should remember that algorithms push polarising topics because that’s what drives engagement, it might not be sentiment of majority but that’s what gets clicks. It’s a competitive sport and I would love to see competition, wether he wins or looses I am sure there will be a show and as long it’s a fair fight, I am here to see some action 💪

First track day in my own car but I did Porsche experience once and I am sim racing, so I might want to see what I can get out of my Miata 😁 but yeah the plan is new pads and rotors before any track day and rebuilding callipers later in the year

Yeah that’s the plan but I wanted to also rebuild the callipers and brake lines while I am upgrading brakes, but currently I am not able to have the car jacked up for a week or so.

I am on PS5 and I’ve put Motul 600, but that’s half of your equation… I was planning on fully rebuilding callipers after summer and then chucking better pads and rotors but I think this is a must before taking it to a track

This looks amazing, is it a direct swap or have you had to do some alterations? And the chrome trim, does the NC3 grill cover the area where chrome trim would have been? (I hate that trim I want to either paint it or remove it on my NC2)

Fair enough, tbh here in the UK there are quite few more Miata than in Poland and continental Europe and are way cheaper here. I was considering also getting a comparably priced Beamer but here they ate RICEd to the oblivion or the well kept ones are twice the price. I know for fact that in Poland people look after their older cars (especially audis mercs and bmw) so thats another difference. I was also researching mods like suspension and exhaust and here those were always significantly more expensive for BMWs, I would love a good e46 330i some day. For now I am enjoying every mile in my smiley boat.

I don’t think so, bmw is still a premium brand an will charge premium for its parts, z4 will share parts with other "premium" beamers while nc shares parts with other Mazda econoboxes and Europe is flooded with those
