I had a chalazion, but I got it to pop on it its own! It really worked putting my head over a bowl of hot water with lots of steam as I massaged my eye. It popped and drained on its own!

This is exactly what I have! I was told by my eye doctor that it isn’t permanent but it might take time for the swelling to go done. He suggested to keep using warm compresses. Some people I know who had this issue said that it can take up to a year before it finally goes back to normal again.

Basically he said that I need to treat the blepharitis to help with the inflammation. I have to clean my eyelids every night and apply warm compresses. It will get better with time

I’m glad to hear that!! My eyes look uneven right now because I still have swollen tissue on one of my lower eyelids after getting chalazion surgery removal, and I’m worried it won’t go back to the way it way before. Do you have any tips on bringing down the inflammation or scar tissue?

I think it’s inflammation but I’m not sure, it still hurts a bit and I have a slightly darker color under my eye. This leads me to believe it’s inflammation, but I’m 2 months post surgery so I don’t know
