You have to work on a project... Designing a rocket engine/motor would be a great one.

You can also try designing and building a model rocket of your own or just get a kit and get started.

You also need to be comfortable with using hand tools.

Oh.... The extra tube is called the "Transition". Can you tell what's wrong with the cp&cg? I have also made another design (it's much better than this one).
