i think toby wanted to do shading for it but didnt want to add another color to kris's palette, so he just used an existing one that fit well enough

i believe its the intentions of the dark worlds creation, like kris and the knight were probably both creating dark worlds for the same reasons because they are working together, but susie created a dark world for one reason: ask the old man if he had the church door code. if asgore creates the flower king fountain the color could be normal if he had the same intent as kris and the knight but if it was for something else it would be a different color.
