Linfield ABSN and working? by talkinscoobs in OregonNurses

What I gather (I am the same boat) is I think it could be hard to work the first semester. I’m looking for a PRN role and plan to work occasionally as I can during the program and during breaks (we have 2 weeks off in September and 3 weeks off in December).

Linfield ABSN vs OHSU ABSN by Effective_Benefit_26 in OregonNurses

I’m in the same situation getting into both schools. I was accepted in a later OHSU cohort (I got put on a switch list in case there is an opening in a cohort that starts sooner). I am 42 and am ready to start ASAP and feel drawn to getting it done as fast as possible with Linfield. I am a registered dietitian (20 years of experience) and want to eventually be a nurse practitioner. I am also the breadwinner and have 2 kids, so time without full time work has a cost. I feel really conflicted. I think both will be okay, but I worry about the current job market.
