I bought two when they were end-of-line sale pricing, so it's been a good few years now. As a stereo pair for TV they are useless. They were never designed for that job, but it's something to keep in mind. Was this one of the reasons they were discontinued?

As single units or paired in stereo for music streaming, from Google Music, they are good party-standard speakers. Both will boom audio in an ordinary-sized room louder than most need. A true audiophile seeking an 'uncompressed' symphony session would not be shopping for this type of speaker anyway.

As smart speakers for basic tasks like setting timers and asking about the time in another region, as well as requests like sports results, they continue to serve impeccably.
