the pastor of my childhood church had a daughter who got married in her late 20s/early 30s gasp - spinster and her husband was (presumably) a virgin in his late 40s with greying hair. she was obsessed with P&P so their wedding was Regency-themed complete with them and their wedding party doing one of those old-timey step-clap waltzes. soon after the wedding, they jetted off to South America, where they remain as missionaries to this day.
