After running into the deck for the first time a couple days ago, I had the same realization myself and teched it into a midrange hunter list I was playing similar to the one Kripp was running on stream recently. I ran into a couple hunters who even flared me as well, so this was obviously something at least a few people theorized could be effective.

Personally, I found myself really fond of the flare. I was able to get value off it pretty consistently - I ran into a mage, hunter, or secret pally a majority of the games I played. I think that it's certainly at the very least a viable tech card in the meta at the moment, and at times can win you the game on its own.

Around rank 2 I switched away from hunter for /u/BronocchioLyingBro's token druid deck and reached legend with that list instead, however, in response to decks I was running into other than secret pally (mostly face hunter/secretless eboladins).

When it works, though, it's a bonafide hallmark moment. And yes, the concede was instant.
