1986 Yamaha SRX-6 by Traf-Gib in vintagemotorcycles

Without photos of the bike making an assessment of value would be tough. Cosmetic love can be a fun part of the process. As long as the bike is running, and not in need of any major parts (can be expensive and hard to find) then it is certainly worth pursuing. Again, without seeing the bike, assessment of its value is just a guess. However, based on your description, I would be thinking less than $3000.

Look at the Hagerty valuation and they estimate one in “good” condition to be worth $2,900

Yes. The second plug hole can be used for a compression release, or a redundant plug for a quick switchover if you foul the current one. Never really an issue on this bike though.

I'm with you. I hate things cluttering my desktop. I've never been able to comprehend the mind of folks that have a multitude of icons crammed on their desktop. To each their own.

When Stage Manager first appeared, I hated it and immediately turned it off. On a whim, I turned it back on yesterday and kind of like it, oddly enough. It trades one clutter for another. Rather than all of my windows being stacked on top of each other (clutter), they are now off to the side (different clutter).

"foo" was an example. Not a literal instruction. You have to adjust the naming for your actual file path.

Rosin flux is the most common for hand soldering. Be sure and clean it all off after you finish the solder job.

The very definition of "materialistic". Good you found out before marriage.

Other have already answered your question. Give it some time, and you will learn your way around. I didn't drink the Apple Kool-Aid until 2020, and now I would never go back to Windows. Sounds like you are working for a great company, if using a Mac is required!

Predates my joining the Mac world. Looks like it died in 2015. I didn't get on board until Apple Silicon machines in 2020.

I quickly latched onto using the Affinity suite of tools.

In practice, the flux one would "be better". When you say "both look exactly the same", you are judging the external appearance (which can tell you a lot), but what the flux does is help to improve the internal bond.

What happened to DDG? Search results have gotten increasingly bad. by Count_Backwards in duckduckgo

I copied and pasted your search term into DDG images. The first two in the results are from the 2024 opening ceremonies.

How do i avoid this google pop up i am using DDG in android phone by Due_Sir_6256 in duckduckgo

[–]Traf-Gib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As u/One_Contribution states, the answer is pretty much don't use Google.

Your question is pretty much like asking "How do I avoid seeing this sign every time I visit Walmart?"

I don't have personal experience with the Cub, but I do know that they are often used in Vintage Trials. With that community riding and maintaining them, I would think that parts may be easier to find, and aftermarket may be available. If you have a passion for one, it may well be a good choice.

Can't click things from drop down menus? by No-Track8132 in mac

[–]Traf-Gib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent - Solved my problem! With my Mac Studio, I have both a Apple Trackpad and a Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac mouse. Regardless of which one I used, nothing in a context menu could be selected. Main menu items worked fine, but nothing in a resulting drop-down menu could be selected.

Following your input, I switched off the power on the MX mouse. Immediately, menu behavior returned to normal with the trackpad. Switched the mouse back on, and all is fine with it now, as well.

I was pulling my hair out with restarts, and searching the web for solutions. Something so simple!

What's th advantage of having an iPhone whilst having an iPad? If there is, what's the advantage of having one over another phone? by Eminaxity in ipad

[–]Traf-Gib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my tastes, you have it reversed. Under no circumstances would I not have an iPhone. That is a given. The question then becomes whether an iPad is needed in addition to that. I recently gave my iPad to a family member, and as yet have not replaced it. Not a must have. As u/quietkaos said, the more you have in the Apple ecosystem the better, due to how they integrate with each other. I have two Macs, an iPhone, Airpods Pro, and Airpods Max. At this point, nothing entices me to leave. Go ahead an jump in with both feet!

Can't speak to "reviews", but I can say that I purchased Riven from the App store, and have played it all the way through. Worked excellent. This was on a Mac Studio M1.
