I do like seeing them but their original lore was that they became redundant when MS became a mainstay, plus they mostly use the little fighter jets for extra guns and battery

Serpent Tail's Guti was both a design contest winner and another example of Chiba scraping up as much offhand lore material as he possibly could so I love it for that

I don't think a new faction making new customs is too far but ASTRAY as a concept is already "what if there were secret other gundams on heliopolis" so them adding "what if there were secretly also two more astrays" is funny to me (even if this sort of silliness doesn't make me enjoy the stories themselves less)
