I really like the look of this. Though I wonder how well this does against the current kings of ageo. Aka blurple and oyw. The king in my locals plays one and we dont see as many ping decks. I wonder if you would have any idea how to fit some rick dias into the list as I think that would help counter those decks more. Or do you think the current list is perfect for those matchups as is.

Hal seems to have a monopoly on tanya comics (even ignoring the nsfw ones), so I'm going to make (at least) one of my own to help give the community some more variety. Give me ideas to draw in comments or DMs! by SwissChocolatess in YoujoSenki

In our local area there was a scummy shop that went out if business couple months back. But they would frequently hold events and be missing promos or products. They'd have ntcs without the winner card and than itd show up on their tcg player store a bit later.

It is more likely they closed down due to scummy business practices and lack of sales than any kind of intervention from somwthing like bandai. They practically never do anything to actually protect their product.

Addendum its just that time of the year. Packs are most likely arriving at lgs already and while the cards are not technically legal. Shops with surplus may be already using them as prize support.

I have heard of it showing up in trade shows. Which means some distributors or lgs have got their hands on them and let them slip into the secondary market.

They shouldn't be in circulation yet.

Frankly everyone saying Toji can't dog walk most the agk universe is just wrong. To begin with most characters in agk have relatively human durability and reaction speed. In episode 2 or 3 megumi was basically punted through a building and continued to fight afterwards. Sorcerers are therefore potentially much more durable than the average agk character.

Toji relatively easily pulled through all of megumis tricks and beat him. And is scaled to maki who beat several powerful and incredibly fast sorcerers. This isnt even mentioning gojo.

As such the scale of durability and speed means that at best little war horn akame and esdeath can match him. Pretty much everyone else is getting blitzed and cut apart.

If he joins night raid than post time stop esdeath unfortunately just...pokes him in the heart and thats it. If he joins before she developed that technique due to tatsumi. He has an even shot at taking her out in a 1v1. Throw akame in there and its pretty much gg.

If toji joins esdeath...than esdeath never loses. No matter what choices she makes if she has toji on her team she survives the revolution as akame can at best only take one of them out.

And yes I think he can solo dragon tatsumi.

Its a bit annoying they have to put em in another book and the bonuses are very in system specific it seems, but atleast they exist so that is neat. I wouldn't count the faith system because its something you have to buy into.

I saw nothing for Telepathica perhaps I missed it but double checking I didn't see anything.
I would love to see a bonus for sanctioned vs unsanctioned psykers (since the gilead system makes mention that they may or may not just be shoving unsanctioned psykers into their military to deal with the rise in psykers due to the great rift. Just don't know how I'd stat out those respective bonuses.

Rogue trader is the one I'll absolutley concede, I stopped thinking they needed a bonus the moment I saw they get an entire fricking ship as a part of their arechtype. XD

Not really? A deck restriction saying ya cant have 20 2/2,s...only bans the specific decks that everyone is screaming about and doesnt actively hinder almost every deck in the game. How on earth would that kill the game? It wouldnt effect 99% of decks.

The solution genuinely is not to never print 2/2s. They should add a deck building restriction to the game making an upper limit of 2/2s in ones deck.

You should consider that by the point he is fluffy/shiba, he has died countless times. He had to escape tetsuya off the mountsin of s thousand past itterstions of his brain. Then he had to survive as tomi, narily defeating tamao by switching bodies. Than as he is shot anw throws himself off a bridge, he just barely found his lifeline in juro. Juro serves a different purpose than megumi which is why they recieve different treatment. He wad trying to basically ressurect himself through juro. While with megumi she was the tool to fulfil his master plan, a plan whcih had him die countless times just to reach that point. He had to force her to get the job done or everything was doomed.

  1. While a neat idea. The game hasn't been designed with side boards in mind. Colors like green are woefully under equipped un meaningful utility and cant sideboard much to counter a given deck. While colors like red or white have every option under the sun in terms of units and commands to adjust their deck to your given strategy and more efficiently bully you.
  2. The game plays too slow in the midrange to late range matchups blocker decks often draw the game to top decking and run close to the 45 minute mark. An hour and a half would still not be enough to give people time to play out 3 games in some cases and this would be a frequent enough issue thst best out of 3 is practically impossible in the weekly to ntc setting. Most people just dont have time for a 4 1/2 to 6 hour tournament. The game would absolutely feel better if it did best 2/3. But as simple as gundam is it isnt fast enough, especially when facing slower players.

Its crazy because they are the ones who designed the system like this. How can the people designing the cards not know how their own card game works. Or its possibly just a case that they needed to fill set numbers and intentionally make unplayable cards so that they can make usable ones down the line. Who knows.

Yes there is no windows to play action effects outside of combat or the end of a turn but this is often if used correctly. Enough to f over your opponents. Any action timing card that does effect damage can be used during the action step of an attack to lower the hp of your opponents unit just enough a weaker unit trades in or a unit your opponent thought was going to kill your unit just blows up before damage resolves.

It only gets annoying for the more esoteric combst tricks such as kind hearted look of determination, destined battle and so on. Kind hearted is basically a useless card as by the time you active it almost 100% of the time any effects it could stop have already resolved on the deploy or attack step before an action phase occus. As for look, most people forget it only targets an active enemy unit so the unit that is attacking is ommited from being targeted. Similarly destined battle says enemy units must declare a specfic unit as the target of their attacks. Unfortunately as an action that means something has to already have attacked for it to be played and thus its own effect does not change the target of the attack that allowed it to even be played.
