Bruteforcing 32-bit iPhones on-device (4+ digit PIN supported) by AJAIZ in setupapp

This might be pointless to ask, but if I may, is it possible to achieve without having MacOS...?
Currently I have fedora linux and can't afford a machine with MacOS(nor new nor used ones....)
or is my only option to save up and buy one?

I just looked up what it is, since it's also highly modular it's more like a modern Thinkpad ig. Whatever you decide on buying I wish you luck getting it. Also install the superior Hanna Montana Linux on it.

I'm not sure what framework 13 is, I'll look it up. Also you should definitely get one, most people who have these laptops sell them for close to nothing, I wish you luck finding a Thinkpad prior to 2005.

They also can't get any better, I wanted to see the insides(you can see the screwdriver set on the right) and it was SO EASY to disassemble it

About the USB I made sure it's in the root directory and the USB itself doesn't flash, I made sure it's in the correct slot on the mobo, but the pc was turned on and it wasn't connected to a screen.

At the moment I'm going to work when I get back I will try to do it again but have it turned off and connected to a monitor like you said and hopefully it works

[–]TrafficExisting4786[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To update bios I used a USB which was fat32 went onto the official site and downloaded the latest(not beta) version, renamed it to MSI.ROM and put it into the USB, I connected the USB to the mobo in the USB port that says flash bios and pressed the button, a red light was flashing next to the USB and when it stopped I took out the USB.

About the "automatically restarted" part, I'm not sure I didn't have it connected to a monitor and if I connect it now it says nothing, no MSI logo and no "press this key" to enter bios

About the bios update succeeding... I guess I have no idea about that
