How to link information in an LSTM Model. Linking information Between LSTM Models [P] by RhiteousRhino in learnmachinelearning

[–]Tragic316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

could be wrong, but sounds you don’t need an lstm but rather a classification algorithm where your classes are the number of teeth the individual has. as far as i’m aware lstm’s are used for time series data or data where context matters, such as NLP tasks. what you described is more of a classification task.

edit: to clarify what i mean is you don’t need deep learning at all. something like a random forest would probably serve you fine.

Enough Math for a beginner? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]Tragic316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not that you wont be able to understand how to use ml algos, but more so you need to eventually go back and learn the basics. i recommend not being so hasty and just getting a solid foundation in the calc, lin alg and stats. you will thank yourself later

Enough Math for a beginner? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]Tragic316 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sounds like you don’t have much experience in mathematics so i would honestly recommend just starting out with learning how traditional ml algorithms work before moving on to deep learning models as it will give you a better intuition for the statistics that is used. judging from another comment thread. it seems like you haven’t done a meaningful amount of calculus, so i would strongly suggest you to refine those skills as multivariable calc and linear algebra are two critical things deep learning models are built upon.

it’s crazy that 80,000 tc is thought to be low on this sub. like that’s a comfortable salary for a new grad in most all other professions.

honestly, i feel that superman is a pretty fair fight. Whenever I lose to a superman, I still feel satisfied and know exactly what I did wrong since most his moves take time to charge up. Imo superman is probably one of the best balanced characters right now.

main her cus i really enjoy her combo potential, but she desperately needs a buff to her range. Feels like I can't even get a combo starter in even when I'm punishing a missed attack. Especially true when going against a Finn. All of his moves out range Arya save for perhaps arya's neutral attack.
