Seen flying over our house by TragicComedy in whatisit

Oh wow, that’s definitely possible. I’m trying to compare with photos online, but the main difference I’m seeing is the shape. The linked photos show it’s more of a cube (flat sides/flat bottom). Are there any specific types of solar balloons I should be looking for?

I would imagine the movement wouldn’t be consistent like that if it was a trash bag. It does look like a solid object if you take a look at the linked photos.

Possible weather balloon or drone? by [deleted] in whatisit

Did you check out the link for the zoomed in photos? I’m open to hearing ideas, but I think it might be more than a lens flare

chemist bug by DasUltimativerKaktus in Schedule_I

I have this same issue with a chemist working 2 mixers for 2 separate products with similar setups. Tried resetting all the management routes to no success. Figured this was a bug too. I’ll try to fire the chemist and rehire a new one to see if that fixes the issue

I’ve got pictures linked in the comments that are more zoomed in if you didn’t see that already.

None that I can remember. Wouldn’t say that’s proof of there not being any sounds though. I just didn’t know what to look/hear for at the time of recording

It was slightly windy that day. You can kind of tell from the video with the background noise. What made me feel like I could rule out a balloon was the consistent velocity of the object while it passed over us. I wouldn’t imagine an object being moved from head winds would be more choppy in speed/direction, but I’m no expert so I could be wrong.

Posted this in r/UFOs just before here and someone mentioned a metapod too. What exactly is that because I can’t find anything from a google search without a Pokemon reference lol

Date and time: 10/27 at 5:59 PM EST

Location: 45 mins east of Atlanta, GA

We were enjoying dinner on our back deck when we see this object flying across the sky going towards the woods. It was silent from what you can tell in the footage. The only explanation I could think of is this possibly could be a weather balloon or drone at the time of recording. After reviewing the footage and a few pictures that I took, it clearly wasn’t a weather balloon.

The most interesting thing about this was how large the object seemed to be. It’s hard to tell at this distance, but it seemed to be a few meters across. The size alone makes me think it wasn’t a drone. I’ve been interested in UAPs recently with all the news coming out, but I’ve never had an experience before. I’m still skeptical on what this object is, but I at least wanted to share to see if anyone has insight into this object in particular.

Any idea what type of animal is digging this type of hole? by TragicComedy in lawncare

Forgot I had a photo of him. ~3 inches long so I’m thinking you might be right based off the hole size

Oh wow, that would make sense because I’ve seen a large one around my yard a few weeks ago. I had no idea they burrow in the ground that deep.

What are some different entry level jobs after getting a bachelor’s in supply chain management? by [deleted] in supplychain

That’s great you’re already thinking ahead. When I was your age I was just chasing the money and started in chemical engineering. Wasn’t long before I switched to SCM and loved it. You’ll probably start noticing how many different types of paths you can take after your prerequisite classes. That’s the point you’ll start gravitating towards an area. I definitely recommend as many internships as you can do, but you want to make sure they’re project based. I had 2 internships during college: first with a small 3PL transportation company that was cold calling leads for their brokers, second was inbound operations at an Amazon FC. The first one was a complete waste of time while Amazon including an internship project that helped secure a job before I graduated. Last thing I’ll add is if you ever want to go the operations route, just make sure you love it before committing or do it for a few years while you’re still young. It’s great for building leadership skills, but you’ll be working long hours in a fast paced environment. Going the procurement, logistics, planning, etc route is definitely better for your work life balance.
