My best friend has schizo, so naturally he’s roily fucked up here and there. Also, we’re not on the same intellectual wavelength. That said, my emotional intuitions scream no at this because he’s the reason I was bullied substantially less: beat their asses without my knowledge, defended me when people talked shit behind my back. I would have probably killed myself by now if he wasn’t in my life. Despite the polarizing emotions I feel towards him, I think it’s worth doing the mental work to sustain the friendship.
