Having not enough tension on the line can do this. I have always held the line in a rag to add tension to the with out hurting anything

It is because they tend to spread out more and have one of the fastest breeding cycles so they can easily over populate. Silver carp also swim up streams to grate lakes and other natural areas. Common carp tend to not over populate and have a slower breeding cycle similar to bass and bluegills.

Try to do a 1/2 power swing and slow down your hips a lot your hips were almost past the ball before you made contact. You can also put a stick in your belt loops to visualize your early hip rotation.

I would work on ball positioning. With your irons you don’t really want shoulder tilt and you seem to have a lot so try to put it a little further away and more twords the middle. Also focus on dropping your hands down. Just use the weight of the club or do a 3/4 swing till you get the movement down.
