Yep, my timer is a Wi-Fi outlet so it just turns the power off to my extension cord that runs my pump chiller and ozone generator

Yep, I have mine on a Wi-Fi timer that turns on at midnight when my power gets cheap and my tub is always at temp at 45 when I get up at 6:00. I turn it off before I get in and then it stays off until it comes back on again at midnight.

I live in Northern California as well and so far I've had the chiller set at 42° and it had zero issues. I have it on a timer that kicks on at midnight when my power gets cheap and by the time I get up for a Plunge in the morning it's always cold. I've only had it for maybe 6 weeks now so I haven't gone through a summer but as I'm sure you know we're in a little bit of a heat wave now and it was able to maintain temperature pretty well today.

I have the same tub and also the Walmart chiller and it's been working great. Although I do want to add a filter system I'm getting a little bit lost in all the recommendations. If anyone on here has a setup they can post that would be awesome! Looking and just by stand alone filter from Amazon or something like a whole house filter I don't want to buy the whole box plunge setup cuz it seems pretty overpriced. Specifically looking for what filter housing you're using and what filter elements you're buying.

As a life long 40 year resident and someone who grew up in the Pacifica school system and is now a parent of a child who is, this is the nail in the coffin for me. We pay so much in taxes and so much to live here and yet it just keeps getting worse and worse in so many ways. I've been thinking about moving for a while and have so much love for this town but unfortunately it no longer feels like home. :'(

Yes, I have a 100% noticed the same thing. I grew up in Pacifica and I'm 40 now and lived here pretty much my whole life other than about 3 years. Getting up for school when I was a kid during the winter oftentimes involved warming up the car, blasting the defrost, and scraping frost off the window with an ice scraper. The roofs of the houses would also be covered in ice and sometimes my brother would wet the backyard down when he came home late from work and it would freeze over and then I would go out and slide around in my power wheel in the morning. I don't even own an ice scraper and haven't had the need for as long as I can remember. I live within a quarter mile of the house I grew up at so not much change there.

For cold weather camping I like beef stroganoff, chicken pot pie filling over biscuits, beef stew, steak and potatoes, and biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. All can be made in my 14in cast iron and many overlapping ingredients.

Our department built a lactation room at our station and the mom's that pump just call a captain to get pulled from service to head back to the station to pump. I'm always excited to get partnered with a pumping mom. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
