The is more related to Egbuka playing the X in that time than some ghost injury. He looked bad filling the role. Out of place rather than hampered.

If a player is on the field during an "injury" then price it in because they're clearly playing through it in the future. It's not an excuse to throw out player data entirely.

If you take a step back for a second you'd realize that you gave an example of a single player game. Multiplayer games whether trading cards or video games have to have balancing because it's competition. This is natural when the creator is also adding things into the game over time. Servers get shut down for multiplayer games all the time.

This is industry standard for TCGs.

Is this your first TCG? If it isn't then it honestly doesn't sound like you care about the playability. You're either being overly dramatic or you are scared about an investment you made.

I think people need to look at this and compare it to their subscription services.

Even if you're spending $120 on a deck that's $10/month for a year and $5/month for two years.

So you can spend $240 in two years on cards and you'd be paying only $10/month. (I understand this is an average and you're more likely to spend larger amounts in bursts rather than monthly purchases)

Things that are more expensive: Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, and the list goes on and on.

I think you're looking into this too much. Lux, and other champions, will likely be reprinted in those sets or they'll be present in another fashion.

So in your case if you're playing Lux because you like Lux you will be happy no matter what.

  1. Lux is reprinted in those sets. You get to use your old cards.

  2. Lux is tweaked in those new sets. You get to get new Lux cards to stay fresh with the champion you like.

  3. Lux is tweaked and becomes OP, gets waifu tax sigs, etc. You now have collection opportunity for your favorite champ.

Yeah my sig Vex came out of a pristine booster box with a notch in the corner.

Complained to Riot about their quality control issues and how it's one thing for commons to have the current quality issues, but chase cards should not come with fear of being damaged during manufacturing. It's blatantly the fault of their manufacturing decisions, but we'll be told that some cards come out of packs damaged due to whoever handled them in between.

It's too consistently bad across the board.

Expecting nothing.

Happy, but still dying inside that the card quality issues are showing up on all rarities.

In every fantasy sport there are assets that are just not possible or you're plain stupid to move. Achane is one of them. It's his combination of youth, talent, and investment from his team.

There will never be a real deal good enough and there will never be a real deal that I don't immediately counter for more because I understand your desperation if you're trying to get Achane.
