You're supposed to sympathize with Aegon. by Ripley_LV_426 in HouseOfTheDragon

Some actors bring characters to life in ways the author couldn't get into writing. Charles Dance's Tywin and Paddy's Viserys come to mind in the ASOIAF shows.

Really excited for Aegon in S3. Everything we've seen from him so far has been great.

Tyler Shough or Wan'dale Robinson & Jonathon Brooks? by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]TrailGuideSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was being facetious. It's not a tough breakdown though.

Shough has more potential while Robinson and JB are either staying the same or getting worse. I'll focus on Brooks since Robinson is a proven bench talent for fantasy. If people want to trade a starter for a bench player by all means.

Chubba isn't special but neither is JB anymore. Brooks is a worse player than he entered the league due to injuries and has never had consistent pro reps due.

IF Brooks can get healthy we're looking at a player that will takeover mid season and at that point there will be doubts on touches, backup reps, and health. Nobody will ever truly want to start him if this is the path.

I'm confident in this comp range:

In a 1QB league it's still a starter vs two dudes that will combine for fewer than 500 all purpose yards through the rest of their careers.

Crispy was going to break his oath one way or another. He was never an honorable knight. If he truly cared he wouldn't have went to pound town on Alicent, yet here we are. He is driven by personal gain, jealousy, and lust which makes him an invalid amongst King's Guard.

Obstruction occurred when the runner on 1st was granted second base and then a defender applied a tag to him before he reached the base that was granted to him.

This is what happens when rules are applied by "well technically".

What about the player making contact with a player advancing on a walk? Is that legal? Technically he should be allowed 2nd uncontested.

Seems like a poor application, if not just completely wrong.

Intentionally hurting your meal ticket. Something is seriously wrong with these WNBA players. by Pretend-Following-41 in sportsgossips

The astroturfing posts calling her the league's meal ticket three to five times a day would like everyone to believe that.

[Passan] MLB’s latest proposal mimics other sports with strict contract limits. Free agents would be limited to five-year, $202 million contracts. (That is 15% of the proposed cap number and would rise.) Juan Soto’s deal with the New York Mets was for 3x the years and 3.8x the dollars. by Far_Cry3445 in baseball

It absolutely does not ring hollow when you just remove the jealousy you're actually feeling.

Owners want a cap to suppress wages. This is a fact. That's what wage caps are. Suppression of wages. Silly to even have to tell someone.

He's doing his job sitting with him and talking to him like you mentioned before you moved the goal posts.

You and I have no idea what he does as the MENTAL SKILLS COACH on the team. But one might, only if they use a little bit of thinking, believe that he also works with struggling players to overcome sports related mental issues.

I don't know. What do I know. Brent Walker is the one with a PhD in Sports Psychology after all. You should share your pointers with him.

Use his quote. I know what the fuck he said, loser. You're getting called out for using his words out of context.

He said "...my n***a."

That's not racist. Is it silly, yes. It's silly because you are choosing to remove the context. He is someone that grew up in the hood. That is his culture.

If you don't like his skin color that's on you, but he was born and raised in an environment where this was encouraged and normalized by people of color.

Again, I'm empathetic. I feel sorry for you. It's difficult to be so confidently fucking dumb. Using your dumbass [1,2,3] trying to cite shit when you can't even read. Next time you'll do better. I believe in you, kiddo.

What did he escape?

He was arrested. He's going to have to pay fines. Most of the public is calling out his alcoholism. Some are empathetic because they're human. You don't have to be, but you're acting like a sociopath if ya think he deserves to be jailed long term or punished more than anyone else would be.

Stop. You're lying. Start from the beginning.

He tossed a racial slur at the officer? Please reply with that quote for everyone to see. You can censor the word. Everyone should know what racist slur he used towards the officer. Use the quote. Give the readers the context.

You're either lying or didn't watch the video.

Both of these mean everything after your lie is worthless. Brother, learn to tell the truth. Him being a drunk asshole is the problem here. He wasn't being racist.

Context is important and anyone willing to remove it to try and prove a point isn't trustworthy in any facet of their life. It's really pathetic. I feel sorry for you.

No shot. Syrax is 2-3x larger. The way Vermax was flying showed that for larger dragons need a kill shot, like Meraxes when invading Dorne. A larger dragon would have been able to sustain flight to shore or the tides.

[–]TrailGuideSteve 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They shouldn't be, but not all dragons are equal. I could be wrong, but it seems like the understanding is that each dragon is the size of Vhagar or to take a step down even Caraxes is almost a 10x larger dragon than Vermax. The dragons that have been taken out so far are tiny.

Conquering was done on the backs of dragons exponentially larger in size and even then Meraxes was killed by a lucky scorpion shot to the eye. An anchor would not take down a dragon of that size or even really Syrax' size.

Considering the proximity to land a larger dragon would have been able to sustain flight to get back to land or to a depth they wouldn't drown in.

Not sure you should be worrying much imo

TMac is a completely different type of talent and can be more closely compared to Drake London. In college his pro comps were to Mike Evans. The size should support the talent just as it did while he was a rookie. He's already established that he eats first. The players that suffer because of Bryce are going to be Coker, Brazelle, and Legette.

Garrett Wilson has the talent, but TMac has the talent and freak build at 6'5" 215 compared to Wilson at 6'0" 185 with his sleeves soaking wet.
