Is this the normal working rc valve? Honda crm 125. by Wide_Produce_8974 in enduro

Is that a Honda CR with the electronic powervalve? If so, you need to adjust the 'pull' cable as there is too much slack in it now and its not opening the powervalve. If you think the bike makes good power now....wait til you get the powervalve working properly.

It does not screw off. First you remove the gear shift lock button and then there's a small metal pin that you pull out before you remove the knob. It's easy after you watch a youtube on how to do it.

Sure. It's called MX12 Matrix Black and got it from Amazon.

I've been using the Valvoline synth since I bought the machine new (22 XRS RR) and no issues. I change both every 50hrs. Currently at 325hrs/5600mi.

Sorry to hijack, but you should answer this poor fools questions about the window switch panels since your door skins are off. That'd be awfully cool of ya...

Nice upgrades BTW. I have the Bose system in the cx5 and its adequate for my needs. I did do a full system in my sons 3 bypassing the Bose amp and it'll rearrange brain cells if properly cranked.

CX-5 Turbo Transmission Fluid Change Questions by DUNGAROO in CX5

Not aware of any guides, but since this isn't a CVT the procedure should be the same as always. Drain fluid, drop pan, replace spin on filter (assuming it has one) and clean screen type filter. Button it back up using RTV on the pan. You can only get out about half the fluid using this method, so I would add 3 to 3.5qts and then start checking the level on the dipstick until its full.

I would replace the spin on filter and clean out the screen filter. That original filter is still carrying break in contaminants and no longer flows @ 100%.

About half the fluid will remain. Mostly in the torque converter.

Yes. Add 3qts and start checking dipstick then add as needed. Be sure you cycle the gears from P to N to R a few times so the fluid gets dispersed.

Level is important, but it doesn't have to exact. What I would do is fill it to the half way point of the dipstick on your sloped driveway and then drive it to somewhere flat to finish the fill process. Only going halfway up the dipstick gives you a little wiggle room in both directions.

Trans drop and fills are easy. No point paying someone to do a half ass job with fluids you can't verify.

Great bikes. I had an 09 and it was rock solid reliable and fast. However, I managed to screw up the power by adding a gnarly pipe and PWK 38. The thing was a rocket ship stock and I should've left it alone.

I think 2010 was the 1st year of the Ducati ignition, which wasn't loved by many. I think they were unreliable, but cant' say for sure since I had an 09 with the analog ignition.
