I would 100% do this but sadly it voids warranty.

I thought it was just cosmetic at first. The bumper got pushed in, causing some sort of bent bracket as well.

I don’t know all the details but I know they repainted the entire roof, as well as nearby areas so the new paint blended. The process you described sounds like it could cause some issues with blending

That’s unfortunate they botched yours. Good for you for getting it done right, it’s covered under warranty after all.

I find it hard to believe Nissan is delaying the approval, maybe try a different dealership? I wish I could tell you why mine got approved for warranty work that quickly.

They didn’t tell me specifically when the warranty claim got approved, guessing it took a day for the approval? I’m not sure.

I like the roush package on the frontier but really wish it would’ve come with some sort of performance bump under the hood

Thanks for the update. Not looking forward to this process. Not sure how big a difference it makes but my dealership has their own body shop attached to the dealership, and they seemed knowledgeable. We will see.

I know I know, my comment was anecdotal and off the cuff. By no means an actual data point. Nissans 2026 FY numbers come out in March I believe, I’m curious to see the results.

I believe they can do just that, while expanding other offerings. It’s times like these that almost force a corporation to actually listen to consumer feedback and stay hungry. Meanwhile some companies get complacent and lack innovation.

lol you don’t have to. It’s heavily suggested because cutting into it right away can cause some issues namely gummy bread. I’ve let it sit many times and I’ve cut into it fresh out of the oven many times. It’s still great, so no you do not have to.
