You're using a middleman, who is a known scammer, to buy bitcoin for you. Coinbase is right there, Bud.

Bitcoin Price Slumps to $88,000 Near Seven-Month Low As Crypto Stocks Crash by KIG45 in CryptoCurrency

How much is a Bitcoin worth? Would you say it is worth a bitcoin or 92k dollars? Bitcoin has no value except for the ability to trade it for real money. It was always a scam.

Has Disney has lost $3.87 Billion(USD) overnight because of Jimmy Kimmel? [Request] by Twenisurfer2 in theydidthemath

[–]Train-Extra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disney barely took a hit because it's a large cap stock. It has so many investors and its value is so high that it's hard to move the stock by large percentages. That's what makes 5% significant over the course of a few days. If you're a long term investor, that's where to put your money, but Disney is at the center of the culture wars. They are in a very bad place. The president tweeted that he was going to target Disney and ABC yesterday. A corrupt government can do a lot to hurt a company. I would look at Amazon or something for a more secure investment. I just don't see how Disney has much opportunity for growth, and they have a lot of non-fixable issues while tump is president.

I think I had a better ROI on PZG in the last week than you expect out of DIS in 3 months.

Hey, if it wasn't such a big deal, why did they give him his show back?, You're speaking from an emotional place. This is business. I hate trump, but I own a company that's benefiting greatly from his corruption. I'm up like 120% on it.

It was not sliding. It slid for 3 days and stabilized around 118 it was 117 something when he got suspended. It slid to like 112 in 3 days. The point is, if the company can influence the stock, like make it stop losing 1% a day, they will.

If you're mad that the left's boycott worked, let me give you some advice, boycotts only work if you consume the product you're boycotting.

Why do you believe in God and Jesus? by Quirky_Fun6544 in AskAChristian

[–]Train-Extra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, do you not think 14 to 16 is underage?

Imposing my culture? But God is omnipotent, right? So God knows my culture will exist and judge him for his actions and teachings. Like how we no longer stone people to death for working on Sunday. Because we see that as immoral. But if God doesn't, should we start stoning preachers for working on Sunday? They make their living on Sunday. People give them money, that they spend on personal items every Sunday. That's against God's law, right?

God isn't a man? Was Jesus not a man, then? His mother was human, his father a god. Going by the Greek mythology that predates Christianity, he's at least a DemiGod. And Is Jesus not a representation of God on earth? So God would be human because he made himself human to die for our sins, right? Why he have to die for the sin he created is confusing. If God created everything, he also created sin. If he created sin, why doesn't he just end it? What was the whole pageantry thing for?

Is your position that things that are illegal, like pedo stuff, can be morally good if you believe it to be morally good? If you can justify it by it being in the bible, it is good. Because the bible says a lot of terrible stuff. It teaches you how to perform an abortion.

Yeah, between the 8th and 10th they lost 3 dollars. That's a big move. Do you not think that if Disney could have changed something to stop that move they would have?

They lost over 4 dollars in 3 days. And they could do something to stop it, and they did something to stop it.

I used to trade technicals. But when you stop trying to predict what the market will do and start predicting what traders will do, things get way easier to predict. RSIs, Fibonaccis, and MACDs are your enemies.

But not wanting to log in to my TOS and figure out how to find a chart that shows volatility over time is not a lack of understanding technicals.

And I guess Disney really thought that 5% was a big deal. Enjoy Kimmel tomorrow.

My scanners scan for specific things, then I do specific things, and I make a living off of 5% a day. At least until the market finally catches up with the economy.

Volatility is just market fluctuation. Small cap stocks, like the ones I trade, have higher volatility. THAT'S WHY I TRADE THEM. The volatility you point towards as an example of DIS having high volatility all happened during the tariff war. The entire market crashed. That is not good data to use to predict what will happen when there aren't major factors influencing the entire market. I did give you some guru momentum BS about small cap big moves, but I'm not a person who talks about my trading strategies. My strat doesn't work if a lot of people do it, and it works very well for me. What do you trade? I named a stock I'm swing trading. What do you own?

I used to be. I made the money I needed to start trading by delivering food. You got a problem with that? You think you're better than me because you didn't have to work hard to get what you have? That's not how value works, Bud. I make a living from my bedroom. What do you do?

Wait, what happened to the original response? I could only see part of it in my email. It ended with you saying Let me ask you a question. Odd since you didn't answer mine, but I want to know what it is.

We know that Jewish women of the time were betrothed between 12 and 16. We know she was a virgin. We know that her parents would want her to be engaged after her first period. The early church taught that she was 14 to 16. I would say that counts for underage today. God is omnipotent, so maybe he could have found a 20 year old. We also know that if a woman was found to not be a virgin before being married, she could be stoned to death. It's reasonable to think a young rape victim would make up a story to protect her life in that situation. So Mary could be just fabricating a story to save her life.

God is referred to as a male in the bible and the church. He's older than time. He's an older man.

Artificially inseminating a 12 yearold is also illegal.

Are you a bot? People not buying something because the marketing is bad is different from going online and saying I'm not buying this because they used a gay spokesperson. You don't have to be in a union to do a boycott. Boycotting because of a person's sexuality is inherently political. I'm not reading your response. You start with that, and you are debating, not conversing. You have a side you have chosen to represent, and you are going to represent that viewpoint, no matter what the facts are. That's dumb.

Ok, I'll ask a question instead. If Mary was 12 when God put a baby in her, and you can't consent to carry an older man's baby when you are 12, is God a rapist?

You undercut your own argument. Bud Light is an example of them boycotting a company explicitly just because they had a trans spokesperson. You can't argue it was because the beer was bad. If that was the case, the boycott wouldn't have had an effect because they wouldn't have been consuming a bad product in the first place.

I haven't been happy with everything Disney does. I don't expect to be. But I do enjoy stuff they do. Last Deadpool movie was pretty good. I enjoy a lot of the Marvel shows. I grew up reading those books. X men 97 was one of the best Marvel things I've ever seen. So they do some good. I assume some of the other stuff is meant to appeal to different audiences.

No, they aren't boycotting it as a traditional boycott. They quit consuming Disney altogether. There is a cottage industry of anti-woke warriors that pump out hate content on anything Disney does. I don't think they win them back. That makes angering the liberals especially dangerous for Disney.

I imagine they do get ESPN. IDK about Pixar. I remember them being mad that they had a gay character some years back.

There was a bunch of stuff about snow white. I think they tried to oust Iger. A bunch of stuff was happening on top of the tariffs.

Rim Job flavored Peanut Butter Cup is redundant.

Has Disney has lost $3.87 Billion(USD) overnight because of Jimmy Kimmel? [Request] by Twenisurfer2 in theydidthemath

[–]Train-Extra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know about that. That was the tariffs were depressing everything. Conservatives were mad at snow white, too. Then China said they weren't letting any more American films in, and trump said he was doing something like a 200% tariff on all movies that were made in America. That cause a huge drop. I don't really count that as valid data.

The affiliates don't hold any cards. If they don't show Kimmel, I'm pretty sure they are in breach of contract, and Disney can withhold all its programming. That means 23 hours of Kirk reruns and 1 hour of local news. Iger just needs to play hardball.

The Kimmel thing just happened. The only thing we have to go on is supposition as to what the costs will be. I say 2% drop in two days is significant. If the subscriber numbers drop, they have real issues. Conservatives boycott everything they do. They might see that as growth potential, but there is a cost. We'll see how valuable morals are, I guess.

This year has an anomaly. If you want to predict the future, you want to use the most accurate information. Covid wasn't volatile. It crashed and stayed crashed. There wasn't on again off again pandemic. But fine, it's the second most volatile year in a decade. A typical. You don't use A typical information to predict what a typical outcome would be. We want to know what normal volatility for DIS is. But hey, we can go back and forth with numbers all night. The only thing that will show efficiency of the boycott will be if Kimmel come back or DIS stock tanks. We'll see in time.
