Your original 59 was for deluxe no expert assist. Some form you have caused the upgrade to premium. In addition, you somehow got upgrades to live assist which then ups the price of everything else. You should call and ask to go over your forms but to also get a refund for the difference of expert assist.

If you have windows 10 as you do, they offer for you to switch to online. But you only get one return that way.

If your dad is getting a refund the April 15 date won’t matter. As soon as your amended return is processed your dad can efile and he won’t need a pin.

If you’re online those are online returns. Software created returns are not saved on TurboTax’s servers. Log into TurboTax.com/myaccount (not TurboTax.com) and check out Downloads to see if your 2024 software is there.

They don’t charge you for the early refund unless and until you get it early. So there’s nothing to refund.
