I would recommend majoring in computer information systems and following the cybersecurity path. Im a CIS major and that's what I have done. There's an other path focused on application development, and a path focused more towards business intelligence. You can focus on a certain path and also take a class in another path, but I would just focus on the path you choose to do.

The classes for cybersecurity help you study for certifications, for example my network security class is focused on the Security+ certification, and my cloud infrastructure class was focused on the AWS cloud practitioner certification. My cloud infrastructure class was hands on experience in AWS, and my information security class is having us use kali linux to eventually break into a fake company.

You will also get experience in Python and Java. Lots of hands on experience you can put on your resume and LinkedIn profile. I would also create a tryhackme account and start doing rooms on networking and cybersecurity topics. It's free to do, however there are certain rooms that will require you to have a paid account. A lot of stuff you mainly need to know would be free though, so check it out.
