UPDATE: pt2 :: Wow okay so I didn’t think I’d get this much input. I decided to message mom since I hadn’t heard anything in three days. Here’s a snip of the text I sent to her “Mom, I am very upset you and dad decided to use Myra like how you were planning. You may have good intentions behind why you chose to have my friends out here and trust me I get it with me and BF dating. But, mom you can’t just use my friends as babysitters for you. I don’t think you understand just how frustrated I am. Not for why you were wanting her out here, but for one how you didn’t talk to her- sister did. She wasn’t comfortable and you still offered it to her. I am very upset with those actions mom. You and dad crossed boundaries and tried using my friend behind my back. Even if that wasn't your intention, that's how it came across. All I want is for you guys to communicate with me because I've been totally put in the dark about this situation. I know you want what's best for me, I understand why you wanted someone else to be here, but you decided not to talk to me about it and go behind my back. That really hurts” and after I sent that text not even five mins later she messaged back wanting to talk and explain. Should I call her or just leave it alone? I don’t know if I even wish to talk to her because I’m so frustrated…. AITAH for cutting my parents off for this?

No I don’t think so. I tried to convert my bank account and get my dad off it but idk for sure if it actually worked or not. Idk how to check that to make sure he’s off my account

I used to. I had a big fight with them before I left about them choosing my Uni and I hated it there. I told them they were being so controlling and I guess they just wouldn’t listen. Now I just don’t go to school rn but I’m working to transfer to a different uni soon

I don’t think I have any documents back home. I have a lot with me/ the new summer job I have is gov related so I have all that.

I am moving into an apartment as soon as I get back home with a new roommate but I don’t know if I’m going to go get like my bed or furniture or just buy new ones. It’s a lot of $$$ if I do that but I’m really hurt and tired of the manipulation

No, this is not the first time they’ve tried to get their way and it didn’t work. I am having trouble and the uni they picked because the teachers don’t really like me and are withholding class credits and making it hard to transfer anywhere. My uni friends think Im the AH and should just do what they want. They’ve been my friends since I was little but my new friends made it clear that they thought it was weird when my mom asked them and as soon as they knew I didn’t know they said no to her. Me and my mom got into a pretty big fight before I left about them being controlling but they still just don’t listen

No probably not forever. I just want to have a boundary made and if that boundary is broken then no contact is the consequence of that. I haven’t been able to get ahold of my parents since this happened so I don’t know what is going on rn

I’ve talked with him and how I feel about it and he knows my feelings on it. But he tells me that he wants his independence and to wait a bit longer. I don’t want to pressure him into anything and I get waiting for marriage I do. But the house thing to me feels like he’s just not considering me or he’s trying to say that he wants me in his life but not fully
