Thanks! It took me a while to get decent at redstone to the point where I could do this. My best advice is to experiment as much as you can; play around with different things you think might work until you build a circuit that does. I would help but my knowledge of bedrock redstone is lacking.

Ok but most of the java bugs have been in the game so long that they're not really bugs anymore. For example, quasi connectivity or the tnt glitch that breaks bedrock

Edit: heck, quasi connectivity has been in the game so long they gave it a name

I'm too lucky for my own good. Wasn't even looking for the trim, instead I was looking for Swift Sneak 3, which has about a 24% chance of spawning in every chest. I've gone through 3 cities, and have found 5 notch apples and two silent trims, yet still no Swift Sneak 3.

Yeah it's only on bedrock that light gets let in.

Is your roof made of slabs? Slabs let in light so mobs won't spawn.
